The Three Pillars of Celebrate Recovery

    Large Group Meetings

Each Celebrate Recovery worship evening begins with Large Group Worship — a time for everyone to come together in one place to praise, learn, and grow. This part of the night includes uplifting worship music, prayer, and a message of hope through either a teaching or a personal testimony of God’s transforming power.

Large Group Worship sets the tone for the evening, reminding us that we’re not alone and that healing begins when we turn our hearts toward Jesus. It’s a safe and welcoming space for anyone — whether you’re just starting your recovery journey or have been walking it for years. Come as you are, participate as you feel comfortable, and let the truth of God’s Word and the encouragement of others refresh your spirit.

    Open Share Meetings

After the large group worship and teaching time, Celebrate Recovery moves into what we call Open Share Groups — smaller, gender-specific groups where participants can share about their struggles, victories, or anything God is doing in their lives.

These groups are a safe, confidential space built on mutual respect and honesty. You’ll never be judged, interrupted, or pressured to talk — you can simply listen until you’re ready to share. Each person speaks from their own experience, using “I” statements, while others listen with empathy and support.

Open Share Groups are where real healing begins. As we share our stories and hear from others walking similar paths, we realize we’re not alone — and we discover the hope and freedom that come from community and Christ-centered recovery.

    Step Study Meetings

Step Study Meetings are where participants take a deeper journey through the recovery process, working through the Eight Principles and Twelve Steps of Celebrate Recovery at a slower, more personal pace. These groups meet separately from the regular weekly CR meetings and provide a safe, structured environment for deeper healing and growth.

In a Step Study, participants use the official Celebrate Recovery participant guides, sharing honestly as they work through questions that help uncover past hurts, patterns, and roadblocks to recovery. Groups are gender-specific and confidential, and everyone commits to walk through the process together from start to finish.

This is where true transformation often happens — as you dig in, surrender to God’s work in your life, and build lifelong friendships with others who are walking the same road to freedom.

Daily Open Share Meetings

Breaking freedom from addiction can sometimes require all the tools in our tool belt from prayer to community. We’re here to provide all the tools.

What we know about working toward sobriety is that someone pursuing freedom from their addiction can sometimes need a meeting every day. You may have heard the phrase “Ninety in Ninety.” That means ninety meetings in the first ninety days of someone’s sobriety.

At CR Fouke, it was very important to us to be able to host an Open Share meeting seven days of the week, making attending a meeting much easier than having to make a thirty to forty-five minute drive for a meeting.

At this time, we know we have two nights of the week accounted for and are actively seeking volunteers to help us make the goal of a meeting available every day a possibility.
